Proper Attire
All participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear while on the farm.
• Closed toe shoes are required at all times.
• Clothing should be comfortable, weather appropriate, and suitable for outdoor farm activities.
• Participants are encouraged to wear sunscreen, hats, and insect repellent when necessary.
Hydration and Weather Safety
Farm activities take place outdoors and may involve heat, sun exposure, uneven terrain, insects, mud, dust, or other environmental conditions.
• Participants are encouraged to drink plenty of water throughout their visit.
• Participants should notify farm staff immediately if they begin to feel dizzy, overheated, dehydrated, or unwell.
Animal Safety
For the safety of both visitors and animals:
• Do not touch, feed, chase, or approach animals unless permission and instruction have been provided by farm staff.
• Loud noises, running, or rough behavior around animals is prohibited.
• Wash hands after any approved interaction with animals.
Equipment and Farm Areas
• Do not touch or operate farm tools, machinery, vehicles, gates, fencing, electrical systems, or equipment unless specifically instructed by farm staff.
• Certain areas of the farm may be restricted. Participants must remain within approved visitor areas unless accompanied by staff.
• Climbing on equipment, hay bales, fencing, or structures is prohibited.
General Conduct
• Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, volunteers, animals, crops, and other guests.
• Running, horseplay, disruptive behavior, or unsafe conduct is prohibited.
• Smoking, vaping, alcohol, or illegal substances are not permitted on the property.
Children and Minors
• All individuals under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
• Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the safety, supervision, and behavior of minors attending the farm.
Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
Participants understand that farms are working agricultural environments that may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:
• Uneven ground
• Exposure to insects, plants, animals, dust, mud, weather, or allergens
• Farm tools and equipment
• Physical activity associated with outdoor agricultural environments
